Jillian Barberie hasn’t lost her touch since being diagnosed with breast cancer and undergoing a double mastectomy a few weeks ago. The KABC host opened up to Dax Holt and Adam Glyn on the ‘Hollywood Pipeline Podcast‘ this week about her health journey. In true Jillian fashion, she spoke candidly about her ups and downs and how hard post-surgery has been on her body.
Barberie, 52, joked about her “a**hole nipples” during the interview and how one of them was pointing in the wrong direction pre-surgery, which at the time, she didn’t realize was a sign of a problem. Come to find out, her “breast was so filled with cancer it was pushing the nipple downward.” She opted to say goodbye to her A-hole nipples and is currently nipple-less.
“I don’t even have nipples right now,” she confess. ‘I call myself ‘Robotits.’ My son’s like ‘You don’t even have nipples!’ I’m like, ‘I know it’s so weird!”
I have to say, my new ta-tas are nice. They aren’t the real McCoy like these babies but I’m happy. The irony is that I went to the number one reconstruction specialist who is known for her nipple saving technique. Sadly I couldn’t save my cancer ridden nips. So I’m nipple free! pic.twitter.com/kVmURTkiJw

However, she hasn’t done it alone. Jillian has been inundated with phone calls and texts from family, friends and celebrities, including Heather Locklear, who’s been dealing with her own drama lately.
Beyond the jokes, Jillian really wants women to remember to get their mammograms yearly. She recounted the day she found out her diagnosis, “it was during a mammogram and mimosas party” she was bartending for. “I thought it was a joke, until my personal doctor called me later that day and told me I needed to get in for more testing asap.”
Woke up to pee and snapped this. The face and body of cancer. (no more) I hate the drains but who cares really? So what. My life is saved. I need to go back to sleep now. Soon ill show you the girls. Stitches and all. pic.twitter.com/23NGrCmPlZ
