Singer Kelsy Karter tricked the world when she posted THAT photo of her cheek with a brand new Harry Styles tattoo across it.
In case you missed it, which is impossible, the New Zealand born artist went viral earlier this week after photos surfaced of her destroyed face. Fortunately for her face, the entire thing was a giant publicity stunt to strum up buzz for her new video and single ‘Harry‘.
Karter posted a reveal video on YouTube Thursday night titled “How I Rocked the Entire World for $300,” explaining the story behind her prank.

The video shows how the elaborate prank played out, using celebrity tattoo artist Romeo Lacoste, FX makeup and a months of planning.
During the video she admits “The tattoo was not real,” but defended what she did by saying, “I love that Harry has introduced rock to a new generation of fans. Plus he’s nice to look at…”
“This has always been about Rock & Roll. ‘Harry’ is an anthem for the fans. The tattoo is gone. All that’s left is the music. Which is what my rockstar team and I had planned all along,” she wrote.
You have to admit, it isn’t easy to break into the music industry these days without making a bang. She sure did that, not to mention, her song is pretty damn catchy.
We’re not even mad.
