Actress Felicity Huffman is trying to stay out of the spotlight after being arrested for her part in a massive college admission bribery scheme. The Desperate Housewives star was seen back at her L.A. mansion after posting $250,000 bail Tuesday.
HollywoodPipeline has learned Huffman camping out at her sprawling Hollywood Hills estate for the time being. This is the same home federal agents showed up to on Tuesday morning at 6 AM with guns drawn and hauled her off.
According to TMZ, Felicity, her husband William H. Macy and their two daughters, Sofia Grace Macy and Georgina Grace Macy, were all sleeping at the time.
Fun fact: Huffman and Macy own both these mansions. The famous couple live in the one with the grey roof with red trim, but rent out the white one.
Back in May of 2017 they listed the side property for rent at $19,000 a month. It has 4,566 sq/ft, 5 bedrooms and 6 bathrooms. Inside photos here.
The Emmy-winner has been the target of a federal investigation into bribery in the college administration process.
Huffman was indicted for conspiracy to commit mail fraud and honest services mail fraud. Basically, she paid a ton of money ($15,000) to have someone cheat and correct her daughter’s SAT scores.
We spotted Felicity leaving a federal building on Tuesday after posting bail and she did not look happy about all the attention she was receiving. She hid her face and ended up exiting out a side door into her waiting car.
