The REVOLVE Festival is one of the most sought after parties during Coachella weekend. For that reason, it’s no surprise Instagram was flooded with thousands of photos from inside the weekend hotspot.

If you happened to be on social media over the last few days you probably saw countless images cross your feed of beautiful girls posing in front of a giant ornate swing ride. However, it appears this year the clothing company behind the big event purposely decided not to mention that the picturesque ride once lived on Michael Jackson’s Neverland Ranch.

That might be for good reason, Neverland Ranch has been a pretty touchy topic after HBO aired a scathing documentary about the alleged sexual abuse that went down at the infamous property.  Leaving Neverland was produced by a British filmmaker and focuses on Wade Robson and Jimmy Safechuck‘s stories of their interactions with Michael Jackson.

In the past, the amusement park ride has been touted around the country with a banner proudly letting riders know it’s history, including at last year’s 2018 REVOLVE Festival.

Looks as if times have changed. We spoke to a few Instagrammers who said they had no idea it belonged to MJ and “probably wouldn’t have taken an image in front of it.” While another partygoer said she “could care less because it’s pretty.”

We reached out to the clothing giant to see if it was an internal decision not to display the banner this year as they’ve done in the past.

According to a REVOLVE spokesperson “The swings were booked well before the release of the documentary, through a third party vendor. It is Revolve’s understanding that the rental in no way benefited the Estate of Michael Jackson or the Neverland Ranch.”

This year’s festivities went down at the Merv Griffin Estate in La Quinta. Tons of celebs showed up to the two day event including Shay Mitchell, Brooklyn Beckham, Draya Michele, Olivia Culpo and Winnie Harlow.

Let’s be honest, we’re sure way worse photos were taken this weekend.
