Charlie Sheen was seen at the Coachella Music Festival chaperoning his teen daughter Sam Sheen for the event and all we can say is really?!

The formerly troubled actor looked happy and lucid as he gave a peace sign while walking with a friend and his daughter.

The 15-year-old was sporting jewels on her face and ruby red hair for her first time at the festival wearing a bikini crochet top, black zip up, and pinstripe pants.

Her famous dad looked great in a blue knit sweater and blue sneakers after surpassing one year of sobriety.

He was seen escorting the young teen around the sometimes drug-fueled event – a feat that would have seemed impossible for him to do in 2011 when he himself was lost in a haze of drugs.

The Two and a Half Men actor was photographed on all three days of the event looking well and 100% sober.

A far cry from the incoherent person he was in the now infamous meltdown where he spoke of drinking tigers blood, called himself a genius, and of course, began the trendy ‘winner’ catchphrase that became popular at the time.

It is great to see the actor coming around to a life where he can actually be the chaperone for his kids instead of needing a chaperone for himself.

He recently told People – “I try not to think too far down the line, but I’m excited to just have made some changes to give myself a shot and do some cool things professionally,” he said. “I’m proud of finally being consistent and reliable and noble. If things are insane over there or wherever it happens, the kids know that a return to dad is very organized and nurturing.”

Charlie Sheen and Denise Richards are parents to Sam Sheen and her sister Lola Rose Sheen. He also has twins Bob Sheen and Max Sheen, 10 years, with troubled actress Brooke Mueller and grown child, Cassandra Jade Estevez, 34 years old.
