As increasing curiosity grows around Britney Spears and whether or not her freedom is being jeopardized — the pop star was seen in public once again. This time for a froyo run down by the beach.
This appears to be more proof the singer is not being held against her will and can come and go from the mental health facility as she pleases. The singer was spotted grabbing ice cream at Go Greek authentic frozen yogurt in Santa Monica on Tuesday afternoon.

She looked relaxed in a low-cut white summer dress, her hair pulled up and her Birkenstocks on as she stopped by the eatery on Ocean Ave near the pier.
According to eyewitnesses, she looked to be in a good mood and was happy throughout the trip.
Fans have been concerned over Brit’s safety after the Britney’s Gram Podcast aired a voicemail from a person claiming to be a former member of Spears’ legal team accusing her management of sending the mother-of-two to a mental facility against her will.
Yesterday, Spears was forced to post a video of herself to calm fans’ nerves after there was a #FreeBritney protest in the streets of LA. The protest was intended to send a message to her team that fans want her released from allegedly being held against her will at a mental facility. However, by the looks of it, the hype might be totally unnecessary.

Britney went on Instagram saying “Hi guys, just checking in with all of you who are concerned about me,” she said. “All is well. My family has been going through a lot of stress and anxiety lately, so I just needed time to deal, but don’t worry I’ll be back very soon.”
“There’s rumors, death threats to my family and my team, and just so many things crazy things being said. I am trying to take a moment for myself, but everything that’s happening is just making it harder for me.”
Brit also went after former manager Sam Lufti for sending fake emails.
“Don’t believe everything you read and hear,” she wrote. “These fake emails everywhere were crafted by Sam Lutfi years ago… I did not write them. He was pretending to be me and communicating with my team with a fake email address.”
“My situation is unique, but I promise I’m doing what’s best at this moment You may not know this about me, but I am strong, and stand up for what I want!” she wrote “Your love and dedication is amazing, but what I need right now is a little bit of privacy to deal with all the hard things that life is throwing my way. If you could do that, I would be forever grateful. Love you”
Following the allegations, Britney’s boyfriend spoke to a TMZ cameraman saying she’s doing “amazing,” and went on to thank her fans for being concerned but insisted there’s no reason to be alarmed.
According to People, a source told them “She recognized she needed to focus on her health and sought treatment and “No one forced her to go.”
On Tuedsay, her sister Jamie Lynn Spears went on the attack against fans accusing her of sitting by idly as Britney is being taken advantage of.
Jamie captioned an Instagram post “10 years ago, who was there?? I have been here long before anyone else, and I’ll be here long after,” the 28-year-old Zoey 101 alum captioned the post. “I love my sister with everything I have. So, anyone or anything that speaks to the contrary can [get the f— out of here] with all the comments about what you don’t understand.”

10 years ago, who was there?? I have been here long before anyone else, and I’ll be here long after. I love my sister with everything I have. So, anyone or anything that speaks to the contrary can GTFOH with all the comments about what you don’t understand.Do not come for me or the ones I love anymore. You can move the “blank” outta here with all that, just like this other lady who was running her mouth.??
We’ve reached out to Britney’s team (Larry Ruldoph, Jamie Spears and Lou Taylor) but have yet to hear back.
