The lucky diners at King Restaurant in SoHo got a special with their lunch when they got to see Michelle Obama making a hasty exit out of the posh restaurant.

She looked stunning wearing a black sleeveless dress that showcased her famous toned biceps and had her shoulder-length hair in beachy waves.

Mrs. Obama looked to be late for something as she ran down the steps sticking her tongue out on her way out.  She accessorized her daytime look with gold chain necklaces, gold bracelets, and black sunglasses.

She shared her pride in the city of Chicago in a post about how much she learned from doing non-profit work in the windy city and how it’s given her skill that she still applies today.

Chicago is the city that taught me what it means to give back. I was a few years into my career when I decided to leave my law firm, diving into city government and nonprofit work. Over the years, I ended up visiting parts of the city I hadn’t been to before, spending time with elderly residents, supporting promising young leaders, and working to bridge the divide between a hospital and the community it served. It was all so inspiring and motivating—some of the work I’m most proud of to this day—and it gave me skills and lessons that I’m still applying every day. That’s why I was so thrilled to hear about this week's first-ever Civic Action Awards, where the @ObamaFoundation and @ChiPubSchools honored those who’ve made a powerful impact inside and outside of school. Congratulations to all the winners—and it’s great to see so many of you getting an earlier start than me!

In response to her encouraging words, a follower asked, ‘anybody else think michelle obama should run for president?’, with another responding, ‘I know i do’.

It seems former First Lady continues to inspire people around the country, even though she’s out of the White House, and it appears some people would like her to move back in.
