Keanu Reeves and Alex Winter begin shooting the long-anticipated return of Bill Preston and Ted Logan on set of Bill and Ted Face The Music.

Keanu and Alex were spotted filming a scene out of a phone booth looking like they just came back from one of their time-traveling adventures.

The Toy Story 4 actor was dressed in a coral button-down shirt, gray pants, and blue sneakers while Alex wore a graphic tee, dark denim jeans, and a plaid shirt around his waist.

He talked about the movie plot for the third installment of the cult classic film and says it takes 25 years later and Bill and Ted are still trying to work on the song that’s supposed to save the planet.

The boys had to face an Indian on a horse resembling Sacagawea on their first day of shooting, so time traveling is definitely taking place.

Gandhi also appears to be making an appearance, since an actor dressed similar to the Indian activist was spotted walking on set.

The actor opened up about the highly anticipated film with Stephen Colbert while he was promoting John Wick 3 and says that Bill & Ted are now not just in charge of saving the world, but the whole universe.

Reeves talked about their lives since we left them off in Bill & Ted’s Bogus Journey — “It’s a lot of pressure,” Keanu said, “And you’ve got your family now, but you’re still trying to write the song because you have to save the world. But then the future comes to them and says you have to save the universe and you have to write the song in like 80 minutes.”
