Joaquin Phoenix back to acting on the set of a new Mike Mill’s project after enjoying massive box office success with The Joker.

The award-winning actor plays a documentary filmmaker in the unnamed film and was filming various scenes in the Big Apple.



Joaquin and a young co-star filmed at a skateboarding park where he helps the young boy use a mic properly as he tries to do an interview with skateboarders.

During a different scene, The Joker actor was pictured lugging several pieces of luggage while returning from the airport wearing a green North Face coat, black puffer vest, black trousers, and black shoes.

He had a wardrobe change switching out of his winter gear into a black coat, button-up shirt, green trousers, and white Converse sneakers but still carrying the same luggage.

This is the first film project Phoenix has worked on since he broke world records playing The Joker bringing in $1 Billion dollars since it’s release in August.
