Woody Harrelson dressed in costume as Cletus Kasady aka ‘Carnage‘ on the set of Venom 2 filming in Oakland, California.

He was spotted rehearsing a scene at a gas station where he jumps on the counter at a fast mart and gets into a physical altercation with the gas station attendant.

The 58-year-old actor looked agile as he jumped up on the counter and simulated kicking a cashier in the face as he went over the scene with director Andy Serkis who was walking around on crutches.

He was wearing a Hawaiian red button-up shirt, white long-sleeve shirt, black pants, and black snakeskin cowboy boots and vibrant short orange hair.

A stunt double for Harrelson dressed as Cletus was seen behind the wheel of a red Mustang convertible as he burned rubber pulling into the gas station getting a thumbs up from the director.

The plot details are yet to be revealed but what we do know is that Venom (Tom Hardy) and Carnage (Woody Harrelson) will square off for the first time ever in Marvel Universe according to Movieweb:

“Carnage is a fan-favorite villain from the pages of Marvel Comics, known for his appearances in major storylines such as Maximum Carnage” reveals the website. “Cletus Kasaday, a brutal serial killer, bonds with a symbiote of his own and becomes Carnage. Since the symbiote amplifies the traits of its host, Carnage is even more savage than Venom.”

Tom Hardy shared behind the scenes photos of the set in December of 2019 showing the metal gate of St. Estes Orphans home for unwanted children but quickly deleted the post perhaps fearing he’d given too much away.

The orphanage is where Cletus Kassady (Carnage) grew up and learned how to be a villain and also the place where he and Spider-Man had their first battle.

Director Serkis is behind great films like The Lord of the Rings, The Hobbit, Black Panther, and Planet of the Apes, and has promised to make the second Venom darker than the first.
