Cooper and Mara were pictured in costume as their character Stanton ‘Stan’ Carlisle and Molly as they walked down the steps at the Buffalo Convention Center dressed in the style of the 1940s.

The film is based on Willian Lindsay Gresham‘s novel of the same title and remake of the 1947 film directed by Edmund Goulding.  It will star Rooney Mara and Bradley Cooper alongside William Dafoe, Cate Blanchett, Ron Perlman, and Richard Jenkins.

The star-studded cast has locals excited even skipping class and going on the hunt for The Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 actor with some having success and running into the friendly star and taking a selfie with him.

Bradley and Guillermo Del Toro were spotted grabbing dinner at Osteria 166 restaurant on Wednesday, according to local news station WKBW, and were “amazingly nice”, said restaurant owner Nick Pitillo, who added his grandmother Nina came in a day early to make her famous handmade ravioli after she heard they would be coming to Buffalo to film. It was worth the trip for grandma since Cooper and the director asked the restaurant manager to “personally thank Nani for making the raviolis.”
